These Competition Rules explain how Fantasy Lockr competitions, leagues, event formats, rankings, fair play and future reward notices operate. The live app is currently free-to-play and does not offer betting, wagering, gambling products, cash prizes, paid fantasy contests or paid memberships.
Fantasy Lockr may run competitions across league football, special event football, World Cup formats, knockout cups, international matches, and future supported sports.
Event-specific formats may differ. Where they do, the event-specific structure applies.
The current Fantasy Lockr football season uses:
- 38 Fantasy Lockr gameweeks
- five club picks from the Premier League, Championship, League One, League Two and National League
- league fixtures only; real-world domestic and European cup fixtures do not supply the five pick slots
- a replacement league slot when one of the five divisions has no usable league fixture in that gameweek
- no club repeats through gameweeks 1-19, followed by a complete halfway reset for gameweeks 20-38
- position and formation scoring applied to the five clubs that finally count
Each event may define its own rules for:
- eligible teams or nations
- number of picks
- deadline timing
- scoring logic
- tie-break rules
- league format
- promotion or relegation logic
- carry-over or reset logic
Fantasy Lockr shows the active lock times for every gameweek. The full squad and formation lock first. After that point only the permitted named changes remain available until the final five lock. Once a selected club's eligible fixture has started, that club is fixed for that gameweek except where the published emergency-cover rules apply.
Unless stated otherwise for a specific event:
- selected teams score through the goals they record in the eligible event window
- updated official match data may lead to score corrections
- postponed, abandoned, or cancelled matches may be handled under special event rules
The current football season includes:
- persistent private Rooms whose members and chat can continue across seasons
- seven five-game Rival League phases across gameweeks 1-35
- promotion and relegation after each completed Rival League phase
- a separate three-week Rival Cup across gameweeks 36-38
A player's Fantasy Lockr gameweek score is the score used by their current Room tables and Rival fixture for that same gameweek.
Where users finish level, Fantasy Lockr may apply tie-break rules such as submission timing, event-specific ordering, or shared ranking where appropriate.
If official match data changes, Fantasy Lockr may update scores, standings, or rankings. If a real-world event is postponed, shortened, abandoned, cancelled, or restructured, Fantasy Lockr may adjust the event format, scoring, or reward process accordingly.
Where prizes are offered, they are non-cash merchandise rewards. Prize availability, substitutions, eligibility, claim periods, and fulfilment restrictions are subject to the Prize Terms and any event-specific reward notice.
Fantasy Lockr reserves the right to make final operational decisions on event scoring, eligibility, misconduct, fixture handling, ranking adjustments, and reward validity where reasonably necessary to protect the integrity of the competition.
